Christoph Enzel: saxophonist, composer, arranger and conservatory teacher. As a chamber musician he regularly performs at festivals in Germany and abroad. As a soloist he appeared with Beethovenorchester Bonn, MDR Rundfunkorchester and the Siberian State Orchestra. As an orchestral saxophonist he plays with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the NDR Elbphilharmonieorchester and the MDR Rundfunkorchester. For more than 20 years he's been – and still is – the tenor sax player of clair-obscur saxophone quartet. He's a permanent member of Vladimir Jurowski's “Ensemble United Berlin”, a group that specialises in cutting edge contemporary music.

Christoph Enzel is the main arranger and first tenor sax of “Echo Award” winning saxophone orchestra “Selmer Sax harmonic” and since 2018 he has been teaching classical saxophone at the Conservatory for Music and Theatre (HMT) Rostock. As an arranger he has adapted more than 100 works for various instrumentations. Some of his arrangements, compositions and study books are part of the classical standard repertoire for saxophone. His publishers are Schott Music Publishing, Advance Music, Sikorski, Edition Gruber and Chili Notes.
